Glymphatic Drainage

Your brain has its own waste-clearing network, the glymphatic system, and it drains out through the lymphatic vessels of the head and neck. This 90 minute session clears the body's lymphatic pathways first, then uses gentle, specific techniques around the neck, jaw and skull to support that downstream route.

What Brings You In

Concerns Glymphatic Drainage Treats

Brain Fog

Brain Fog or Trouble Focusing

The sluggish, cotton-headed feeling that makes a normal day's thinking feel like effort. The brain clears its metabolic waste mainly during deep sleep, and that clearance drains out through the neck.

Treatments+

The body's lymphatic pathways are cleared first, then slow, light work through the neck, jaw and base of the skull supports the route the brain drains into. Ninety minutes, with the pace set by how your tissue responds. The LINFA Method is the option when body-wide fluid is the main picture.

Causes+

Poor sleep, sustained stress, and congestion in the neck and upper body can all slow the pathways the brain drains into. When the downstream route is sluggish, the whole system works harder.

Clears
The body's pathways open first, so the head has somewhere to drain
Settles
Rhythmic, paced work brings the nervous system down a gear
Releases
The jaw, neck and skull base let go of what they have been holding
Integrates
The effect settles in over the 24 to 48 hours that follow
Glymphatic Drainage Process

Ninety minutes, body first.

The session books as the 90 minute Lymphatic + Glymphatic Nervous System Reset. Here is what happens inside it.

Step 01 · Assess
A head-to-toe intake before any hands-on work.

The first visit opens with a short intake: sleep pattern, headache history, jaw and neck habits, stress load, and anything in your health history that changes the pressure or the areas worked. Headaches that are new, sudden or changing in character are referred before the session begins.

Details+
  • • Sleep pattern, and how refreshed you wake
  • • Headache and migraine history, including anything recent or changing
  • • Jaw clenching, neck posture and screen habits
  • • Health history and contraindication screen for the head, neck and body

When Glymphatic Drainage Isn't the Right First Call

See a physician first

A headache that is sudden, severe, or unlike any you have had before. Numbness, weakness, vision change, confusion, or memory loss that is getting worse. Loud snoring with pauses in breathing, or daytime sleepiness that is affecting your safety. These need a physician's assessment before any massage therapy.

Screened at every first visit

Every first session opens with a full intake: headache history, sleep, medications, and health history. If anything calls for medical review first, the session waits. You will be told directly, and nothing is worked around a flag.

When a different session fits better

If the concern is the face, jaw and neck only, the 30 minute head, neck and face session is the focused option. If body-wide fluid retention and fascial restriction are the main picture without the head focus, book the LINFA Method. If the concern is muscle tension alone, the massage therapy team is the right booking.

Steps to your first consultation.

02

Step Two

The first visit opens with a short intake: sleep, headaches, jaw and neck habits, and your goal for the session. The hands-on work fills the rest of the 90 minutes, starting with the body and finishing at the skull base and jaw. You leave with hydration guidance and a recommended interval.

01

Step One

Book the 90 minute Lymphatic + Glymphatic Nervous System Reset online at essentialchirormt.janeapp.com or call 905-856-2299. The session is $290 and no referral is required.

03

Step Three

Cadence follows your pattern. A long-held wired-and-tired state usually starts with a short series, then spaces out as sleep and tension change. A single session before a demanding stretch is also common. Crystal sets the interval at each visit from what you report.
